Soccer fever infects Mars Africa
Mars Africa associates were recently ablaze with soccer fever as they celebrated their Communications Day at the head office in Rosslyn, Pretoria.

This year's event, which was themed 'Feel It, It Is Here' in true support of Bafana Bafana and the upcoming Soccer World Cup, treated 350 associates to a day off work to celebrate the company's successes and acknowledge their great achievements.
General manager, Hendrik van der Walt kicked off the day with a special welcome and vision sharing session before the day's surprise activities began. Armed with their Bafana Bafana soccer shirts and Vuvuzelas everyone on site was spoilt to an afternoon of soccer fever fun and games which included creating their own Makarapas. "The excitement, competition and soccer spirit that reigned during this time was unimaginable. I saw our senior managers mingle with everyone in the spirit of team work whilst designing their work of art. The energy was FANTASTIC!" Tumi Masekela, corporate affairs manager, Mars Africa.
Mars Africa was voted fourth in the recent Delloitte's 'Best Company to Work For'.
