JVB Country collection
The JVB Country Collection was launched in the in Cape Town shop on 21 September and Johannesburg shop on 22 September. Justin Van Breda, who is based in London at their head office/showroom, was in attendance, and was supported by family, friends and clients.
THE JVB Country collection offers furniture for city or rural living with a focus on layering old with new. JVB has taken an intimate look into South African textures and culture creating pieces for people celebrating life, everyday. With the odd nod to "boere-baroque", JVB Country mixes everything from "grand country" and "simple country" to create a completely new genre of country furniture for South Africa that is at once engaging and appealing. JVB Country will embody a universal language of country living informed by heritage although created for celebrating today.
