Now that Sidinana has taken the South African leg of the competition, he heads off to Buenos Aires, Argentina at the end of October to compete against winners from countries across the globe for the coveted title of 'World Draught Master'.

He comes from Orlando West, where he works as a professional barman at Sakhumzi on the historical Vilakazi Street. Sakhumzi is the only food establishment in the world to share a street with the original homes of two Nobel Peace prizewinners - Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

He beat out six other finalists, Sue de Villiers, Thabiso Kgalamadi, Phumlani Ndebele, Xolani Nyathi, Martin Morokolo and Kenias Sithole, in front of a judging panel of A-list celebrities.

"I am so excited," said Sidinana, after his win. "I can't believe I'm going to Argentina - this is an amazing opportunity and it was so much fun to take part in this competition."

"We are happy with our winner and with the superb quality of all the contestants - we hope that Xolani will bring the World Draught Master title home, when he returns from Argentina. He will make a great South African ambassador for the World's premium beer," said Ryan-Bayliss Lane, brand manager for Stella Artois.
