Triple awards for Stellenbosch Vineyards
All three of Stellenbosch Vineyards' value wines: Welmoed, Arniston Bay and Versus have received a selection of Double Gold, Gold and Silver awards in the 2015 Ultra Value Wine Challenge.
Recognised for over-delivering on quality and value, these accolades verify the Stellenbosch Vineyards promise of placing the consumer first. "We believe that our success in satisfying the consumer needs for good quality value wines is achieved through a combination of pushing the boundaries on price while still maintaining quality through our hand-crafted wine approach," said Bernard Claassen, winemaker of Welmoed wines of Stellenbosch Vineyards.
A total of 11 awards were achieved between Welmoed, Arniston Bay and Versus of which Welmoed Pinotage received Double Gold, Welmoed Pinot Noir received Gold and Arniston Bay The Coast Red received Gold. "We are delighted that our value wines have been recognised in such a positive light as it points out that our consumers enjoy brilliance on all levels of wine," commented Carli Jordaan, Brand Coordinator of Stellenbosch Vineyards.
For smart wine purchases, consumers can be on the lookout for the 2015 Ultra Value Wine Challenge sticker affixed to each bottle of winning wine. This seal is an endorsement and reassurance for consumers that these wines represent high quality at good value prices.
Welmoed, Arniston Bay and Versus wines are available at selected retailers nationwide.
