SA wins four golds at 2014 ISC
The winners of the 19th annual International Spirits Challenge have been announced and four South African spirits have achieved gold medals. One is Red Heart Caribbean Rum, from Pernod Ricard, in the Rum and Cane Spirits Category and is the only standard dark rum in this category to have achieved such an award.
The other three gold medal winners are:
- Distell Van Ryn's 15 Year Old Fine Cask Reserve
- Distell Mainstay Exotic Fusion
- KWV SA KWV 10
Regarded as one of the most respected and influential spirits competition in the world, it recognises three key areas of the industry namely Tasting, Design and Packaging/Marketing. Since its inception in 1995, it receives than 1000 entries from nearly 70 countries worldwide.
It will officially present trophy winners their awards for the Tasting, Design & Packaging and Marketing awards at the awards dinner on Monday 14 July 2014 at the Honorable Artillery Company, London.
