Soccer fan zone for airport

Indiza Media, which has plotted the history and highlights of Bafana Bafana since 1994, is delivering this information to incoming fans and Absa consumers on 16 illuminated screens on the outside of the zone situated at the airport's domestic arrival terminal.

Shaped like a quarter soccer ball, the Soccer Fan Zone is five metres in diameter and 1.2 metres high.

The screens are intended to capture the attention of consumers, who should then realise that they can walk into the middle of the structurem where they are greeted by a touchscreen and terminal. Consumers can navigate their way through the touchscreen menu to find football information of their choice regarding FIFA rankings, photographs of key events, coaches and players from '94 to date.
