Home with Mapaseka talks surrogacy ahead of When the Bough Breaks opening in SA

Surrogacy is on the rise around the world and in South Africa the show carefully examined the real-life experiences of couples who are dealing with issues of infertility and looking at surrogacy as an option. Kaya FM has partnered with Ster-Kinekor to present the exclusive screening of the Sony Movies thriller, When the Bough Breaks at Rosebank’s Zone Cinema Prestige. Sotho Meyer presented the Home with Mapaseka show at 7pm on Wednesday, interacting with a live audience on this delicate topic after the screening.

Synopsis:

John and Laura Taylor (Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall) are a young, professional couple who desperately want a baby. After exhausting all other options, they finally hire Anna (Jaz Sinclair), the perfect woman to be their surrogate – but as she gets further along in her pregnancy, so too does her psychotic and dangerous fixation on the husband.
