Tax Indaba is back!
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is pleased to announce it will participate at the Tax Indaba 2019 which takes place at the Sandton Convention Centre, in Johannesburg, from 26-30 August.
The Tax Indaba has become popular within the tax and financial community since its launch in 2011. The event provides an interactive platform for tax professionals to connect with Government institutions, such as the National Treasury, SARS and the Office of the Tax Ombud and engage on topical economic issues in the South African tax environment.
Each Tax Indaba event hosts around 1,800 delegates over the five-day period. Speakers from leading corporate, advisory and law firms converge to share their experiences and insights. Participating companies include: Bowmans, Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, Deloitte, ENSafrica, FirstRand, Massmart, MTN, Old Mutual, PwC, Sage and Webber Wentzel.
Conference topics will cover everything from tax policy, company tax compliance, tax in sub-Saharan Africa, individual tax returns, large business corporations, VAT and employer payroll taxation and wealth planning. The conference concludes with a Tax Expo day on Friday.
CIMA members receive a 10% discount and can claim CPD points by attending the event. To book your seat at this year’s event, visit www.taxindaba.co.za.
