Top Jupiter exec to head up Absa Marketing
Mohale Ralebitso, executive chairman of The Jupiter Drawing Room (Johannesburg), has been appointed as group executive: group marketing for agency client Absa Bank, effective 1 October 2008, it was announced this morning, Monday 22 September. Mkhari will resume his previous role as non-executive chairman of the agency with immediate effect.
Based on the business insights and advice provided to Absa by Jupiter (Jhb), the banking group approached the agency with a request for Ralebitso to head up its marketing team.
Commented Ralebitso, “It has been an absolute delight to be part of such a dynamic team of people whose passion and commitment to excellence has been an absolute inspiration. It would be an understatement to say that I'll miss my colleagues and friends at Jupiter and the wonderful people we have as clients.”
Jupiter (Jhb) CEO Renee Silverstone said, “Mohale added huge value to our executive team and made a major contribution in helping us realise some key strategic business initiatives and helped set us on a sustainable path for growth.”
