Business Traveller Africa Awards in SA and Nigeria

Future Group - the publisher of Business Traveller Africa magazine - in association with headline sponsor Gautrain and global research specialist TNS, will be hosting the third annual Business Traveller Africa Awards, which will take place on 2 September at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Business Traveller Africa Awards in SA and Nigeria

The Business Traveller Africa Awards is an event for the South African business travel trade, covering all aspects of business travel, including the four main areas of hotels, airlines, car rental and travel management, along with related categories such as conferencing, foreign exchange, visas, private aviation etc. The objective is to reward excellence in South African business travel and to acknowledge those brands/entities that have performed with distinction over the past 12 months.

Future Group has partnered independent research company TNS to interrogate the industry, collate the results, and come up with the winners in each category.

"Over the past two years the South African business travel community has proved that it has an appetite for an annual awards event that acknowledges the industry's top performers," said Dylan Rogers, editor of Business Traveller Africa magazine. "But the event is more than just an awards function and our sponsorship partners have made it clear that they get great value from exposing their brands and engaging with this community in such a focused setting."

Business travel conference

In addition, Future Group and Lagos-based partners TopComm are also proud to announce the launch of a similar event in Nigeria. The Business Traveller Africa Nigeria Awards, in association with South African Tourism, will take place at the InterContinental Lagos on 18 September.

Both events will be preceded by a business travel conference, facilitated by Rogers, which will focus on pertinent issues affecting business travel in Africa, with a particular focus on the two countries in question.

Both awards events cover approximately 15 to 20 categories and voting gets under way in July, with TNS engaging the business travel communities in South Africa and Nigeria, before collating and revealing the results.
