Changing media landscape, full day discussions
The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) and CNBC Africa are partnering with ABN Productions to host a full-day conference entitled 'A Changing Media Landscape' that will cover the latest 3D technologies and its uses, as well as gaining competitive advantage in the converging new media space. It will be held at The Venue, Melrose Arch, Johannesburg on 26 September 2011.
Dr. Duane Varan, Professor of New Media at Murdoch University and executive director and chief research officer of the Disney Media and Advertising Lab, will share the research findings conducted by ESPN Research + Analytics on 3D TV during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
CNBC Africa's Eleni Giokos will host a panel discussion under the subtheme, 'Gaining Competitive Advantage in the Converging New Media Landscape'. Highlights from the conference will be recorded and broadcast on Tuesday 4 October 2011 at 6pm CAT on DStv Ch. 410.
