TV email advertising comes to SA
The Australian concept of TV email advertising will be launched by its South African marketing director, Krishnan Nair at Sandton Sun on Wednesday, 14 April 2010, at 9am. In production in Australia since 2006, the VMBIZ system creates a TV-style commercial encapsulated within an email and comes to South Africa as broadband increases speed and lowers prices.
Ken Taylor and Eric Higgs designed the concept to meet the need for business owners to promote their products and services based on TV commercials while at the same time controlling costs.
“What we have developed is the power of television advertising delivered with the convenience and cost efficiency of email. Basically it's a TV ‘infomercial' production of up to 2 minutes duration about your company presenting the benefits of why a customer should be doing business with you which is delivered directly to your target audience via email,” said MD, Ken Taylor.
“The type of email advertising that the company offers is a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising and your reach is far more accurate if you take into account you can target your audience and harness the power of viral marketing. We script, produce, shoot, host and stream the advertising,” he concludes.
