    NEWSWATCH: The SABC will finally be showing the documentary Unauthorised: Thabo Mbeki this Wednesday, 3 October 2007, at 9.30pm on SABC3 after numerous cancellations and much controversy, and public opposition against Christine Qunta is mounting as speculation grows that she may be the next chairperson of the SABC board, reports the Mail & Guardian Online.

    Also according to the M&G Online, the Sunday Times is going to be sued for defamation by African National Congress (ANC) funder Sandi Majali, “following its story implicating him in the disappearance of money meant for an Eastern Cape school feeding scheme”.
