The Obsess edition of Migrate, the official magazine of The Loerie Awards, is out now at Exclusive Books.
This 12th edition is described as, "Pages filled with work from people who are preoccupied with every pixel, full stop, exclamation mark, comma; every gram of stone-ground flour, every inner fantasy, horses, visiting the dentist and coming out the Star Trek closet," by Roanna Williams, its creative director.
It includes artists from Shanghai, New York, Paris and Knysna.
Creatives featured in this edition include, Maleonn, an art director/director from China who was recently listed as one of the most important 50 contemporary artists; Tania Whiteley, cover designer from Jo'burg; Markus Farbinger an artisan baker from Austria, now living in Knysna; writer Sarah Britten and Becky Redman, a graphic designer from London.
