Power BI Developer

Responsibilities:

• Report Development: Developing and automating new BI reports
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power BI models
• Develop new features and KPIs to enhance reporting capabilities
• Analyse data to identify trends and insights for decision-making
• Prepare reports and updates for key stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams to optimize data pipelines and integration
• Ensure data integrity through validation and quality checks

Qualifications and Experience:

• IT Related Degree/ Diploma / Microsoft Certification / Cloud Certification.
• Min 5 years’ experience in BI (SSIS, SSRS).
• Min 5 years’ experience in Data Warehousing (Kimbal Methodology) (SSIS).
• Insurance industry knowledge required.
• Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query)
• Proficiency in SQL and integrating data from multiple sources
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
• Great communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy

The reference number for this position is NG60233 which is a permanent hybrid position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company of R500k – R800k per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
