SA journo wins surf writers' award

Surfersvillage, an international surfing website, has announced its 2011 Surfersvillage Awards winners, which include Journalist of the Year going to South Africa's [www.bizcommunity.com/Search/196/48/sm-3/r-196/s-Craig+Jarvis.html Craig Jarvis]] for his interview with Jordy Smith. The public voted online for the entries of their choice in each category. The top 10 voted entries in each category went before the respective awards judging panels and the winners finally selected. Jarvis is based in Cape St Francis in the Eastern Cape and is the former editor of Zigzag magazine.
