I am a legal strategist specialising in digital marketing, Internet and digital content. My work entails identifying legal and compliance risks; helping my clients better understand the impact these risks may have on their businesses and developing enabling frameworks to address these risks and support my clients' objectives. My goal, when working with my clients, is to support innovation and creativity through smart solutions based on each client's specific requirements.

Specifically, I frequently spend time with my clients clarifying what they want to achieve, identify and explaining risk factors and help them develop effective legal strategies to reduce their exposure to risk while, at the same time, signing their creative licenses to do great work.

My experience collaborating with marketers, creatives, technologists and lawyers qualifies me to translate their respective concerns and expectations in terms that make sense for the others and facilitate viable solutions. My focus areas include privacy and data protection; reputation management in a digital context; content licensing options and evolving social engagement models.

My success metrics include whether I have empowered, supported and adequately informed my clients. I frequently become my clients' fan and enabling them to do work that excites me and tremendously rewarding.

I am fairly selective about my clients which include listed financial services companies; creative agencies; digital marketing agencies; communications businesses and content providers. They inspire me and I am passionate about their businesses and doing what I can to support them.
