Show profile Hide profile"A man, as a general rule, owes very little to what he is born with - a man is what he makes of himself". Wise words by arguably our world's greatest inventor, Alexander Graham Bell, and needless to say words that I live by in my continuous journey of self-invention. I completed my course of study as one of the top graduates in the Bachelor of Computers & Information Sciences / Systems class of 2010, from the internationally acclaimed University of Monash, now known in South Africa as the Independent Institute of Education MSA (IIE MSA).
Since my graduation, I have been able to serve in various roles within the IT sector as seen in my accompanying CV. Working with systems administration, to IT support and sales. My path led me to venture into the field of communications & strategy, where I was fortunately exposed to a multitude of clients from which, through much work experience, I have amassed some knowledge as to the intricacies' of uniting business and systems development. That being said, there is unfortunately a clear ceiling with regards to growth and development within the IT and indeed Business Development sector in Botswana. Attempts to enhance the skills I have acquired have been thwarted primarily by a lack of opportunities, slow adoption, as well as outsourcing of solutions to international markets.
I pride myself in being a highly motivated self-starter, who is enthusiastic to learn and ready to apply myself. I wish to utilize the skills, qualifications and experience garnered during my time of study as well as in my professional career to exchange bold ideas with others and come up with solutions to challenges faced not only here at home but globally. I am very adaptable resource with good project & resource management skills. I now wish to join a progressive and advanced working environment will allow me to reach my full potential.
