Media24 appoints Sathekge as new communication head

Media24 has appointed Marlene Sathekge as its new head of corporate communication. She is to replace Anika Ebrahim who leaves at the end of October.

Sathekge has a national diploma in public relations management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and her expertise in corporate social investment, strategic communications, event management and public relations spans 18 years.

She has worked at a number of renowned PR companies including Lange Public Relations and Simeka TWS Communications. She also worked at Legal Aid SA, Citigate SA at which she handled communications for the Airports Company SA (ACSA) and increased the national brand awareness of the Woolworths MySchool campaign.
