Eva Ratau appointed MD of Makana Limpuma

A leading company Makana Investment Corporation (PTY) Ltd with its Limpuma branch has appointed Eva Pebetsi Ratau as the Managing Director. Ms Ratau is currently the founder of Sekwena Communications and she will continue to sit on the board the company.

Makana is a broad based Black Economic company representing the commercial interests of Ex-Political Prisoners. The heritage and pedigree of the Makana Group of Companies provides a powerful platform for different businesses to come under one umbrella for the plight of the ex-political prisoners. Makana Investment currently has shares in companies like Dombo/Du Plessis, Sebeza Forwarding and shipping consultancy, Robben Island Ferry Services, Makana National Airways, Khaya FM,GABS & Zimizele and other companies.

Makana is a brainchild of former President Nelson Mandela. Mr Mandela the began the Makana Trust that has office around the country. In Limpopo, expolitical prisoners like Mr Stan Motimele started the operation of Makana with partnership witl local businesses. Mr Motimele later resigned since he's been appointed the Member of the Executive Council.
