New appointments at BDFM Publishers

Joy Daly was appointed as Business Day Sales Manager, effective August 23, 2002.

Joy successfully handled the financial advertising for Business Day, Financial Mail and Sunday Times for six years before taking a year off to complete a masters degree. She returned to BDFM in 1999 as a National Sales executive before being appointed as Business Day Surveys Manager in May 2000, and Deputy Sales Manager in October 2000.

Bonita Carr joins BDFM in September as Media Sales Executive. Bonita will be reponsible for agency sales of print, television and online titles in BDFM's stable. Bonita leaves the Getaway team at Ramsay, Son and Parker to join BDFM.

BDFM is a focused business media company. Properties in the stable include Business Day and Financial Mail and their online extensions; Summit TV on DStv; PR Newswire for electronic dissemination of news releases; and the local distribution of the Financial Times weekend edition.
