HWB Communications is delighted to announce that Glenda Nevill, an experienced journalist and founding editor of The Property Magazine, will join the company from October, as an accounts executive and senior writer.
At the same time we announce, with regret, that Faiza Steyn has resigned as a director and partner at HWB to pursue her career as an independent communications consultant.
"We wish Faiza every success in her new career," said HWB Managing Director, Evelyn John Holtzhausen.
Glenda has 20 years experience in the media industry, having worked on various national publications from the Sunday Times to Cosmopolitan, Weight Watchers and The Big Issue where she was editor.
Glenda is also a prolific features writer, whose articles have appeared in various national publications, covering a range of topics from humorous columns to serious investigative articles.
Glenda also has hands-on experience in the public relations industry after working as a consultant for WEA, South Africa's third largest record company, as well as PR for Mountain Records.
"After 20 years in publishing, I look forward to a different perspective on the communications industry and aligning my skills, contacts and strategic capabilities to best advantage at HWB, whose record speaks for itself,'' said Glenda.
