SAA suspends direct flights to Abuja, offers alternatives to passengers
South African Airways has temporarily cancelled flights between Johannesburg and Abuja from 25 May to 16 June because of what the airline has called ‘operational reasons'. Affected travellers may be re-accommodated on SAA's flights to Lagos, however, their onward transport to Abuja would be at their own cost and responsibility.
Alternatively, passengers may also opt to travel between Johannesburg and Abuja via Addis Ababa. All change fees will be waivered, but tickets need to be booked and paid on or before 16 June.
