Running since 25 January until 22 February 2008 , two days before the Oscars are announced in Hollywood, Ster-Kinekor's Oscar Movie Millionaire promotion in association with SABC2 and SABC3 capitalises on the interest in the Oscars. “[It] is an attendance driver aimed to attract people into cinemas when the interest in movies is at one of its highest points in the year. It is also a fun way for our audiences to engage with the Oscars,” says Ster-Kinekor marketing executive Michelle Roodt.
