CPUT media conference targets online technology

Cape Peninsula University of Technology's 11th annual media conference, entitled Online Technology, will be held on 1 August 2009 on campus. It will target new media topics such as social media, Twitter, blogging etc and link this to the evolving PR industry. Speakers include Dave Duarte (Nomadic Marketing) on “Doing what you love with an online business;” Justin Hartman (CEO and co-founder of Afrigator) on “Afrigator and gatorpeeps;” and Heidi Schneigansz (Quick eMarketing) on “Search Engine Optimisation.” Tickets cost R50 and include access to talks, buffet and a goodie bag.
