New fashion section for Finesse

The December 2010 issue of Finesse magazine, the first issue under new editorshipof Marhette van Huyssteen, has five pages of fashion In response to its readers' requests for 'normal' fashions, not 'Size-8, over-priced, weird-looking clothes'. For the second year, the Christmas edition has prize-per-page competitions - last year, there were more than 22 000 entries via SMS. "This is a way of showing our readers that we appreciate their loyalty and at the same time, our advertisers can connect with our readers in a new way," says Venessa Schoeman, the magazine's new brand manager. The issue is out now.
