Zulu Rock Lodge opens on KZN's Babanango Game Reserve

The brand-new Zulu Rock Lodge on KwaZulu-Natal's Babanango Game Reserve was officially opened yesterday. The lodge, developed by African Habitat Conservancy (AHC), is located at KwaZulu-Natal's rural Zulu heartland, about 50km from the town of Vryheid.

The lodge has created more than 100 jobs for members of the local Emcakwini, KwaNgono and Esibongweni communities and is set to stimulate the local economy. The opening was attended by stakeholders, leaders of the local communities and tribal councils as well as the Ulundi Municipal Manager and deputy mayor of the Zululand District Municipality.
