Swiss wants to know if there's a doctor on board
Swiss International Air Lines has introduced Lufthansa Group's special 'Doctor on Board' programme to its passengers. The programme identifies registered doctors on the passenger list and discreetly contacts them in the event of an in-flight medical emergency.
The programme is aimed at ensuring that, in the event of a medical emergency during the flight, the crew can immediately identify such doctors and approach them for assistance discreetly, without unsettling other passengers.
Any doctors who are interested in participating may register for the programme at lufthansa.com/Doctor-on-board.
