InterContinental Nairobi picks up five-star hotel award
The Tourism Regulatory Authority of Kenya's National Classification exercise has awarded InterContinental Nairobi as a five-star hotel in the category of Town Hotel.
The exercise takes place every five years as part of the East Africa Community's mission to standardise hotels and restaurants in the region's tourism and hospitality industry.
The survey's mission is to certify hotel star ratings based on services and products they offer.
The results were released on 16 May 2018.
