Airbnb speaks out about Trump's 'sh*thole' remarks
Airbnb has commented on US president Donald Trump's recent remarks on Africa, Haiti, and El Salvador, saying the countries and continent are home to more than 116,000 Airbnb listings.
The company has further stated that Airbnb hosts in these countries/continent earned a total of $170m in 2017 by sharing their homes with guests.
Airbnb also wishes to encourage more travellers to visit Africa, Haiti and El Salvador as part of its mission.
