BA advises passengers to take precaution following IT glitch
Following an extensive systems glitch, Flight Centre Travel Group has advised passengers, who are to depart South Africa on British Airways flights, to bring along a printed copy of their e-ticket and arrive at the airport earlier than they normally would. The glitch, which occurred over the weekend, led to thousands of BA flights being cancelled or delayed.
Passengers who have an onward connection on BA have also been advised to check with the airline, as a result of the glitch. Passengers whose flights were cancelled are entitled to a full refund or may rebook at no additional cost in the same cabin.
