SANParks saddened by passing of Robbie Robinson
The South African National Parks has expressed its sadness following the death of its former CEO, Robbie Robinson who passed away on 15 May 2017.
Robinson joined the SANPark Board as a marine biologist in 1966 and served as park warden at various parks including Tsitsikamma where he established the Otter trail.
Robinson was appointed as CEO in 1990 and served until 1997 and his most notable contribution was his involvement in the Western Cape park expansion programme.
