Mmatšatši Ramawela receives award at Global Awards for Empowered Women in Tourism
The CEO of Tourism Business Council of South Africa, Mmatšatši Ramawela, received an International Institute for Peace through Tourism Global Award at the Global Awards for Empowered Women in Tourism held in Berlin, Germany. The event is hosted by IIPT India alongside the UN World Tourism Organisation and ITB Berlin.
This is the second edition of ‘Celebrating Her' at the Global Awards for Empowered Women in Tourism and this year, it happened to take place on International Women's Day. The Global Awards are intended to acknowledge and celebrate exceptional women in the fields of travel, tourism and hospitality.
