Club Mykonos offers Mandela Day 'care packages'

In the spirit of Mandela Day on 18 July, Club Mykonos in Langebaan will partner with Saldahna Bay Tourism and the local Pick 'n Pay to create 'care packages' for local families who are in need.

Guests, hotel staff and local residents are encouraged to participate by donating R67 towards a Care Package made up of items from Pick 'n Pay. The package will consist of basic ingredients such as sugar, milk, maize meal, yeast, flour, soup, pilchards, bully beef, and pasta.

Donations may be made at the hotel's reception until Saturday, 19 July 2014. On Monday, 21 July representatives of the local tourism body and Pick 'n Pay will hand the packages over to community members.
