Submission deadline for Durban FilmMart project extended

The deadline for submissions for the Durban FilmMart project has been extended to 29 February 2012, at the request of African filmmakers currently busy at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam and Berlinale Film Festival. Ten fiction projects and 10 documentary projects will be selected for one-on-one meetings with potential investors and co-producers in the Finance Forum. Documentary projects will also be pitched to a panel of commissioning editors and funders in the DOC Circle. Entry is open to projects with an African citizen attached to one of the key three creative roles of producer, director or writer.
