Travelstart founder issues Black Friday statement
The founder of Travelstart has issued a statement about unethical travel agents it struggled with on Black Friday.
According to the statement, the unethical travel agents bought travel deals, marked up the prices and onsold them to unsuspecting consumers.
The founder stated that the occurrence often happens when the company runs campaigns and that it became aware of grinches in its system early on during the day via its customer service channels.
The company has since adapted its terms and conditions so that it reserves the right to recharge travel agents who sell its tickets with their own marked up price.
