Top award for SA journo
South African journalist Cornia Pretorius has won this year's African Education Journalist Award in the English category for an article that featured in the Sunday Times, "The writing's on the board". She wins a tidy sum of €2000 and an invitation to a study tour to London and Paris with her editor-in-chief. The awards are sponsored by Netherlands-based Celtel Company, in conjunction with Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA).
