De Beers to increase advertising by $200-million
De Beers wants to lift diamond trade advertising by $200-million by 2004 and so that demand growth would exceed world economic growth. It supplies 60 percent of the world's rough stones and has a long term plan to boost diamond jewellery sales by half within 10 years.
