New CEO, directors for black-owned PE ad agency

Port Elizabeth-based Dumisa Advertising has appointed media strategist Noli Xate as CEO. This is part of the agency's repositioning nearly 10 years after the opening of one of the first black-owned advertising agencies in the Eastern Cape. "Noli, who has spent some time in Gauteng working with leading agencies and on top brands, injects fresh ideas and energy into the agency," says Dumisa chairperson Bill Meyer. Other new directors are Daniel Paling (financial) and Mark Momberg (creative). Gerrit van Wyk, one of the founders of Dumisa, has been appointed production director.
