Universal McCann resigns Coca-Cola business in Africa
Universal McCann South Africa has given notice of its intention not to renew its contract with Coca-Cola for media services in Africa, in 2006. Comments Universal McCann Managing Director, Brad Aigner, "Our decision not to renew our contract with Coca-Cola is a strategic one. Following Coca-Cola's recent restructuring in Africa, it made the best sense to hand over the account to our Universal McCann affiliate in East Africa. We are delighted that Coca-Cola has maintained its confidence in the Universal McCann network."
