Deutsche Welle introduces DW Women on Facebook
German public international broadcaster Deutsche Welle has launched a new social new offering centred around women, DW Women, on International Women's Day. The Facebook site will provide a broad variety of content related to women's rights and empowerment.
Its aim is to lend a voice to victims of oppression and to address gender discrimination worldwide.
Topics featured on DW Women will cover education and career advancement, traditions and taboos, the generation gap and sustainability. Female vloggers will report weekly from four continents and share the perspective of women in their part of the world.
