Mzwanele Manyi's Afro Voice comes to surprising end
The Daily Maverick reports that Mzwanele Manyi's newspaper Afro Voice - formerly The New Age - will shut down immediately.
Manyi broke the news to some of his employees after gathering them for a meeting and whilst other employees were out gathering news stories.
The shut down comes 10 months after Manyi purchased the former newspaper The New Age from the Guptas for an initial R150m through a vendor financing deal. Manyi was meant to pay R300m for ANN7.
