Gold Quill Award acknowledges Sappi's safety initiative
The International Association of Business Communications granted Sappi Southern Africa with the Gold Quill Award in Montreal, Canada. The Gold Quill Awards programme acknowledges business communication excellence globally and is acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards programs in the industry.
Sappi Forests introduced a safety initiative to improve safety performance and make Sappi 'Twice as Safe' by 2020. The initiative is based on getting people engaged in forestry work to have a high level of awareness of potential risks and to stop and think about these risks before they act.
