BASF's Kid's Lab workshops awarded at SciFest
The National Science Festival (SciFest) recently awarded BASF with the Best Exhibition Workshop Presentation accolade along with the first prize for Best Exhibition Workshop. Scifest is an annual initiative, which is supported by the Department of Science and Technology and promotes the public awareness, understanding and appreciation of science, technology and innovation in South Africa.
BASF was recognised for its Kids' Lab workshops, which provides children between the ages seven and 14 the opportunity to participate in fun-filled, interactive chemical experiments to detect and identify vitamins while learning about healthy nutrition.
