Pay TV subcribers in Africa to grow by 75%
Screen Africa reports that there will be a 75% increase in pay TV subscribers in Sub-Saharan Africa between 2017 and 2023 to reach 40.89 million.
Sub-Saharan Africa Pay TV Forecasts, however, expects that subscriber growth will overtake revenue progress. The forecast suggests that pay TV revenues will increase by 41% to $6.64bn by 2023 in comparison to the $2bn growth in 2017.
