First ever 8-I South Africa to be held in Stellenbosch

The Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography will participate in the very first 8-I South Africa, which will be held at Technopark, Stellenbosch. Web developers, WordPress developers, graphics or animation specialists, communication specialists, marketing professionals, branding specialists, and graphics designers will spend an extra eight hours of their day to find solutions creative challenges that participating organisations face.

The organisations participating in the inaugural event include Stories Unite Us, The Pebbles Project, Community Keepers, Eduvate, and Stellenbosch Feeding in Action. Some of the tasks at hand include creating a wireframe for a referral app, updating and creating WordPress websites, as well as graphic design.

8-I was started by a group of young creatives from the Netherlands in 2004 and aims to bring together young creatives while assisting charities that need help.
