EWN creates popup warning – guide to false news
EWN has taken a step to try to counter the spread of fake news, as it continues to make headlines in the past few weeks. It has instituted a popup, which displays as users visit the website, that warns people to be careful about which content they consume and spread.
The popup links to an article that arms users with some tools and tricks to identify fake news. For more information, go to http://ewn.co.za/2017/01/27/important-notice-how-to-spot-a-fake-news-story.
