Temp liquor licence for consumer wine show
Recently, speculation within the wine industry has raised questions regarding the licensing requirements needed to sell wines to consumers at the Jo'burg Wine Show, to be held at Gallagher Estate, 28 - 30 July 2006. However, according to Andrew Dunkley, MD of Gallagher Estate, the expo and conference centre "has been granted a temporary liquor licence by the Gauteng Liquor Board, for the sale of liquor for off-premises consumption, for the period of the Jo'burg Wine Show. This allows exhibitors... to sell wine products from their stands".
