All-new Star Wars animated series starts on Disney XD
An all-new animated television series set in a galaxy far, far away will debut on Disney XD (DStv channel 304), this week. Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures will present a whole new set of protagonists and antagonists along with established Star Wars characters as they embark on exciting quests.
The series will follow the Freemakers, a family of scavengers, who discover a natural connection with the Force through an ancient artefact. Their discovery leads on them on an action-packed adventure in which they explore new worlds, meet new and familiar characters, and learn the true value of what it means to be a family. Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures is a production of Wil Film, the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm. It was developed for television by Bill Motz and Bob Roth along with Torsten Jacobson and Jill Wilfert as executive producers and producers Carrie Beck, Jason Cosler, Jake Blais and John McCormack.
