Jekalo launches in Lagos
The first ride-sharing platform has been launched in Nigeria. Jekalo.com allows you to share a ride with someone going the same route as you.
Signing up can be done by logging in with your Facebook or LinkedIn account, and setting up a profile. Jekalo is of course very aware of the safety aspect of such a platform, which is users are screened before hand and issued as an "Available Ride".
The affordable platform also offers rewards, where users can redeem cash, mobile date, vouchers and more. Rides are priced via the distance of the journey, but to celebrate the launch, the first 30 users will be issued a free ride, according to CP Africa
